The Alphabetical List of Ranked Schools
Viewers interested in the rank of a particular college or university should use this list. Then they may employ the school’s rank to identify gay-and-lesbian-friendly professors on the campus of interest by looking at the ranking itself.
For example, if a high school senior wants to identify core faculty in the Government Department at Harvard University who are sympathetic to the civil rights of sexual minorities, that senior will discover on this alphabetical list that Harvard’s rank is 272nd. Then the senior will go to the ranking and scroll down to the 272nd Place to find the name of the one Harvard government professor identified here as lesbian-and-gay-friendly.
Note that 145 of the 417 ranked schools have no core faculty members who are identified as sympathetic to the civil rights of gay and lesbian Americans. Thus, those 145 institutions are tied for last place.
